Amazon Sr. Marketing Manager, Creator Events in Seattle, Washington

The Creator Marketing team’s vision is to strategically and creatively attract and retain a diverse population of quality Creators at scale and provide the resources, education and inspiration they need to build their businesses on Amazon.

This role will lead the physical events strategy for the Amazon Creators team, bringing the biggest and most critical launches at Amazon to life. This role is always innovating on new ways to deliver fame & love for our top-performing creators and drives results for internal teams who rely on this role to support their annual strategies and GTM plans. You will establish the events calendar and strategy on an annual basis, owning the execution of events from start to finish. You will work directly with event agencies, talent agencies, and PR firms, and own the SOW, budget, programming, and talent booking, working closely with all agencies involved, to ensure that the event meets Creator brand values and the strategic nature of the event is achieved. You will work closely with the Creator Monetization team to build out new processes that scale and unlock brand sponsorship revenue and develop creative ideas and top tier experiences that drive repeat brand sponsorship customers. This role will dive deep into data and key social metrics to inform strategies, and define goals tied to each event.

Key job responsibilities

-Own and execute the strategic vision for the Creator marketing physical events calendar

-Identify and up level existing event workstreams to drive business results

-Deliver experiences that satisfy the top retail brands at Amazon; develop creative ideas and top tier experiences that drive repeat brand sponsors

-Develop new ideas and strategies that drive business priorities through creator events

-Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to bring new launches to life and build 360 degree Amazon view within events

-Leverage analytics and data across both teams to inform and drive business decisions

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in leading complex physical event productions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
