We are the Merchandising Planning team supporting Product Selection to primarily build solutions and systems that support the merchandising product selection capability. We work in close collaboration with our product and business stakeholders/partners in order to build this brand-new platform and modernize the capability that our business users are in need of, deprecating legacy products and processes along the way. We encourage innovation and expect developers to take a high level of ownership throughout the software life cycle.

You Will:

  • Get the opportunity to be one of the development leads on the large-scale development of web apps that will power the product selection for our customers

  • Get to outline work beyond the scope of a single unit - scope, responsibility, and accountability

  • Help develop web apps, libraries, and services (if interested) that power buyers to bring in the best selection of products for our customers

  • Assist in mentoring a team of skilled engineers while you get direct mentorship and support to grow your career to the next level

  • Design, Prototype and Build. We love individuals who like to make things real. Seniors typically set the path and standards for the team.

  • Think in terms of telemetry, operations and optimization. Senior Engineers are thinking about more than just the code they are writing today but also whether that will be maintainable, testable, or supportable. And we build our applications to be easily monitored to catch potential issues before they impact our customers.

We'd love it if you …

  • Have 5+ years of experience leading front-end React.js, Node,js, Type script and comfortable designing and implementing rest/graphQL services on Nodejs/typescript

  • Have experience leading the development and delivery of large-scale, high-impact applications

  • Think of the customer and how they will use the application. What form factors? What defines success? If you naturally think customer first, this position is for you.

  • Think deeply about the underlying system that is running your code and how your code will behave in Production.

You May Be a Good Fit For This Role If You:

  • Have strong technical background, with 5+ years of Front end experience - Web apps built on React.js, deployed to Kubernetes in the cloud and analysis and able create solution with good cyclo metric complexity and leveraging design pattern, data structures and algorithms as needed

  • Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and optimization.

  • Listen well and internalize the best ideas from all over the organization while also setting a vision that others are excited to get behindPrefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what is lasting and scalable

  • Experience with micro front end architecture

  • Have experience on the entire tech stack – frontend, backend, data engineering, devops, support is a plus

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Seattle, WA - 130,000.00 - 201,500.00 USD Annually (depending on experience)

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
