Blue Origin LLC Sr Fluids and Propulsion Systems Integrator / Systems Engineer - Lunar Permanenc in Seattle, Washington

To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building the sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the Lunar Surface. You should expect that this foundational part of our vision will require your excellent communication and teamwork. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers (use as appropriate), you willwork as a System Integrator within the System Integration and Analysis Team on the lunar lander, focusing on the integration of the Fluids and Propulsion subsystem. You will lead cross-functional trade studies, run integrated analyses, and define interfaces that impact the design and integration of the spacecraft. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Act as the negotiator between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests to ensure the optimization of the spacecraft Contribute to or lead architecture studies, concept development, ICD development, verification planning, vehicle integration, and operations support Manage requirements development, definition, and maturity Develop interface control documents (ICDs) Generate Concept of Operations (ConOps) Coordinate constraints and conflicting requirements across multiple disciplines Ensure coordination of design changes and associated impacts across subsystems Identify program risks and associated mitigations Minimum Qualifications: B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical subject area Deep technical knowledge in the Fluids and Propulsion subsystem Experience analyzing and managing spacecraft technical budgets and margins, particularly propellant budget Highly knowledgeable of systems engineering practices, integration processes, and mission/safety critical systems Strong ability and desire to analyze complex systems and deliver solutions to results-oriented problems Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Qualifications: Successful candidates typically have8+ years of relevant experience, particularly in fluids design, in-space propulsion, or cryogenic systems M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, Software, Electrical, or related technical subject area With fluids integrated testing and verification / validation approaches Deep technical knowledge in multiple subsystems Experience with human-rated spacecraft Experience with full spacecraft design life cycle Experience with MBSE methods and tools including SysML Experience with requirements definition and management, preferably using Jama Experience with software tools such as SINDA/FLUINT, MATLAB/Simulink, Creo, Jama, Cameo, Confluence, and JIRA Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $146,644.50---$205,302.30 USD Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
