Insight Global Sr Environmental Permitting Manager in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

A sustainable engineering company is looking for a Senior Environmental Permitting to sit remotely in Seattle or Portland and visit large utility clients onsite in the Pacific Northwest.

As a Senior Environmental Permitting Manager, you will lead diverse teams of scientist, engineers, and planners to successfully execute environmental permitting projects for oil and gas renewable energy, and linear utilities. You will lead project teams in developing permitting strategies, and coordinate with clients to ensure successful project outcomes. You will use your experience with federal laws and regulations, including the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); and an understanding of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulations. In addition, the ideal candidate would be familiar with state regulations. You will also provide senior level quality assurance/quality control for client deliverables, including agency consultations and permit applications.

In this role, you will also be involved in supporting the growth of new and existing client relationships in conjunction with business development leaders and account leaders. This will include leveraging existing client relationships, supporting client account teams, and leading pursuits and proposal opportunities (development of scopes of work and cost estimates).

Based upon the candidate's experience, this role can offer $97,600-$135,000

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree

8 years of permitting experience

FERC regulations pertaining to oil & gas sector Master's degree

Experience supporting client development (identifying opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, or leading proposal development including the preparation of scope of work and project budgets) null
