We are inviting applications for the role of Sr. Accountant in the telecom industry, situated in Seattle, Washington. The incumbent would be responsible for overseeing the company's financial activities, specifically in the areas of account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. This role will involve interaction with various financial software including Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee account reconciliation procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with set standards.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation regularly to maintain accurate financial records.

• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accounted for.

• Utilize various financial software including Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite to execute tasks efficiently.

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

• Manage month end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

• Collaborate with other finance department members and management to compile and analyze financial information.

• Develop and implement various accounting procedures and policies to enhance the workflow of the department.

• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
