Job title: Software Engineer (K1031)
Job Description: Working under supervision, design and develop software applications or systems. Implement and operate L7 service mesh to support next-generation software-as-a-service products. Design, develop, implement, support, and operate network components that form the basis of Splunk Cloud products. Ensure secure network communication and proper load balancing. Monitor system health and remediate technical issues. Resolve networking issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in job offered or software development-related occupation.
- Alternative requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Education or experience to include: Kubernetes and Docker; Go or Python; Terraform; IP address management (IPAM); Istio service mesh; TLS infrastructure; and AWS.
