Job Description:

The Reservations Team is responsible for building and maintaining the Uber Reserve" product, Uber's reliable advanced booking solution. Uber Reserve is one of the fastest growing mobility product at Uber and we need your help to scale it to greater heights

As a Software Engineer II (iOS) in the Reserve team at Uber, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and productionizing features that provide magical experience for Riders and Drivers in the Uber iOS app . You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive innovation in our products and services.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

Build delightful mobile features for enhancing the rider and driver experience. Produce high quality design and execute on them to light up features to grow the Uber Reserve Product . Work closely with Science and PM teams to ideate/experiment and evaluate features for millions of Uber Reserve riders and drivers. Maintain a high bar for eng quality by participating and driving engineering excellence challenges to maintain stability of eng systems

---- Basic Qualifications ----

Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field and 2-years full-time Software Engineering work experience

Experience on Native iOS, iOS swift, iOS objective C

Experience with writing, releasing, and maintaining mobile code

Experience analyzing a feature in production using analytics and experiments

Experience efficiently collaborating on projects

Contributions to the internal and external iOS community

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

Previous experience in a consumer facing iOS Application

For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$167,000 per year - USD$185,500 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
