Nordstrom Senior IT Technician, End-User Support Team (Onsite - Seattle, WA) in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior IT Technician to join our End-User Support team. The primary focus of this role is to provide exceptional IT support to our executive leadership team and their executive assistants. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of IT services for our executives, enabling them to focus on strategic initiatives and company growth.

This role is onsite. Candidates must be willing to work in office 5 days/week at Nordstrom's headquarters in Seattle, WA.

A day in the life…

  • Provide prompt and effective IT support to the executive leadership team and their executive assistants.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for executive end-users.

  • Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.

  • Ensure secure and reliable access to corporate resources, including email, applications, and network services.

  • Assist with video conferencing setup, operation, and troubleshooting for executive meetings and presentations.

  • Manage and support executive-specific applications and tools.

  • Maintain and create detailed documentation of support requests, resolutions, and IT assets.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex technical issues and implement solutions.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.

  • Provide on-call support as needed to address critical issues outside of regular business hours.

  • Foster a positive and professional relationship with executives and their assistants, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Escalation for junior team members.

You own this if you have…

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 years supporting senior executives.

  • Strong technical skills in Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).

  • Experience with enterprise-level IT systems, including Active Directory, VPN, and remote desktop solutions.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives and non-technical users.

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.

  • Proficient in Powershell, experience using powershell with O365 and calendar access management.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $24.25 - $44.25 Hourly

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
