Amazon Corporate LLC Senior Financial Analyst , Consumer Tech Finance Team in Seattle, Washington

As a Senior Financial Analyst joining our Consumer Tech Finance Team, you will be responsible for providing analytical support for business optimization initiatives and providing financial analysis to prioritize and lead cost reduction efforts.The SFA will support the team by producing and delivering financial and operational analyses which will allow the team to prioritize their efforts efficiently, with the highest level of impact to the company.Finance is all about the numbers...unless you work at Amazon; it's knowing the numbers and so much more. You know the difference between spending time wisely and wasting time.Key Responsibilities include:* Ability to manage or lead others and further develop exceptional talent* Expertise collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to lead business improvement and cost reductions* Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting the FC improve and create new measures for site productivity* Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability* Manage the development of all weekly and monthly financial close, all planning, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communicating to your Operations partners* Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely* Proven ability to manage a team with competing priorities & providing level-headed guidance during unexpected eventsJob Responsibilities:* Ability to travel; 10%+ travel expected, primarily to local operations, in addition to regional support* BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) or equivalent.* Minimum 5+ years of finance experience, or master's degree and three years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Ability to travel; 10%+ travel expected, primarily to local operations, in addition to regional supportAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
