DocuSign's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) product is growing and we are looking for a hands-on Sr. Director of Engineering to join our team and help scale and build the next generation CLM experiences. As a technology leader, you will help build a top-tier software organization that is responsible for development, testing, deployment and maintenance of components of our CLM application. Our team focuses on distributed decision making that rewards ownership, transparency, and collaboration.This position is a people manager role reporting to the VP, Engineering - CLM and is designated Flex.ResponsibilitiesLead 3-4 full stack scrum teams responsible for delivering middle tier and front end user experiences for the Document Generation and Collaboration components of the CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) productDeliver products that delight customers while managing the health of the code base through continuous refactoring and management of technical debtChampion the culture, processes, and tools required to maintain a frictionless high-quality development environment (i.e. Agile continuous delivery, DevOps and TDD/BDD)Dive deep into technology and are on the forefront of the latest tools, technologies, and strategies and help evaluate, prototype, and introduce them to our teamProvide coaching and leadership in software best practices, automated test strategies, and work toward flattening the cost of change curve for our software products and servicesManage a growing team of approximately 40 engineersBasic qualifications15+ years of combined software development & management experience across multiple languages and frameworks or equivalent experience8+ years hands on software development or equivalent experience3+ years managing software organizations 30 people or morePreferred qualifications Have a passion for continuous improvement; have built learning organizations that keep up with the state of the art and are an example and mentor to your teamDemonstrated track record leading geographically dispersed teamsDemonstrated track record of building high performi
