Summary

Experience in the area of sales and business development within the electronics industry, EMS preferred. This role is specific to the HealthTech space. This role will report directly to the Business Development Director II and deliver assigned tasks and reporting. Excellent communication skills, strong sales mindset, and ability to build customer relationships and cross-functional team relationships to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Perform analysis, qualification, determine new opportunities and generate leads. Effectively communicate the value proposition of Celestica HealthTech.

  • Qualify generated leads through various marketing channels. Asses potential of each lead, determine level of interest and buying intent, and prioritize leads for further follow up.

  • Nurture relationships with existing customers and develop new ones. Respond to customer inquiries timely and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Effectively manage sales pipeline by tracking and updating customer interactions, leads and opportunities in the CRM system. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and forecast.

  • Collaborate with Sales Team: work closely with Sales Directors and cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and objectives. Collaborate on account strategies, share customer insights, and provide support as needed that includes onboarding and sustaining customer relationships.

  • Stay updated on Industry Trends: stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Continuously update knowledge of Celestica’s capabilities and effectively address customer needs and provide value-added solutions.

  • Develop customer presentations and proposals.

  • Work with Sales Directors to ensure all RFQ responses & proposals are complete, accurate, on-time & consistent with the overall account strategy.

  • Represents Celestica's overall business interests.

  • Coordinates strategic account activity globally.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales and account management in the electronics industry; EMS preferred. Healthcare technology a plus.

  • Strong business development skills, win/win negotiation skills, contract negotiation skills, communication skills, teamwork skills, interpersonal skills are all critical.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers. Understand customer’s pain point and buying process.

  • Able to go beyond the pricing talk and provide strategic solutions with value proposition, use sales consultative approach

  • Highly organized and possess excellent time management skills. Prioritize tasks, manage sales pipeline efficiently and meet deadlines.

  • High-level of business acumen.

  • High degree of computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

  • Able to travel domestically and internationally 40%-50% of time

Typical Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years sales and business development experience.

  • Knowledge in Electronics components a plus

  • Experience in the medical device industry would be relevant and potentially beneficial.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range: $88k-$117k Annually

Location: This is a remote position, with travel as necessary. We are open to considering candidates close to any of our US locations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon or California as well as locations near major airports such as the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Pacific Coast.
