Providence Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool *$10,000.00 Sign-on Bonus* in Seattle, Washington

Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) (Evening Shift, 0.6 FTE) to support the Float Pool at Providence Mount St. Vincent in West Seattle, Washington. Day shift from 2:00apm to 10:30pm.

Now offering $10,000.00 Hiring Bonus to any new or external candidate hired into this position.

You will provide direct patient care to short stay, sub-acute patients upon discharge from the hospital as well as long term care residents.

  • Enteral Tube feedings

  • Maintenance of IV lines (Midline, PICC, Port of Cath)

  • Tracheostomy Care

  • Wound Care (wound vacs, drains, dressing changes)

  • Palliative and End of Life care

  • Educating patients, families and staff on disease processes

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Degree in nursing.

  • 1 year Education & Training: LTC geriatric experience.

  • 5 Center Primary Nurse: Teaching experience.

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (New hires must obtain within 30 days of hire)

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • In Long Term care.

  • Supervisory experience with nursing assistants (NAC’s).

  • Experience with an interdisciplinary team.

  • 3 years - 5 Center Primary Nurse: direct care experience. 5 Center Primary Nurse: MDS/RAI experience.

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
