UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for OR Residency/Transition to Practice. Our OPERATING ROOM RNS scrub and circulate for patients undergoing a variety of complex surgical procedures including organ transplantation, cardiac surgery, all varieties of endoscopic procedures, bone and joint allografting, neurosurgery, complex spinal procedures and various oncological procedures.

Selected Operating Room Consortium candidates will focus on Cardiac and Neuro surgical patient population.

As team members in a major Academic Medical Center, nurses have an opportunity to participate in innovative perioperative technology, and the advancement of patient care through ongoing research, education and quality improvement activities.

SCHEDULE Full-time. Day shift.REQUIREMENTSRequires 2 years acute care nursing experience or previous OR training such as Senior Practicum, Surgical Technician, etc.LEGAL REQUIREMENTSWashington State RN license required by start date. Must have active Washington State RN License by June 7, 2023.DESIREDBSN strongly preferred.
