Job Type Remote Job Summary The Key Account Manager plays a crucial role in our Revenue Cycle Management team. This position combines elements of customer relationship management, accounts receivable management, and intercompany relationship management to ensure high-quality service and optimal revenue generation. This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance customer relationships with operational excellence in revenue cycle management. The role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of billing processes, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Essential Functions 1. Account Management and Customer Service: Assist with day-to-day account management for ambulance billing customers Respond to customer inquiries within one business day Proactively engage with customers and represent their needs within the organization Maintain relationships with insurance companies, hospitals, and other facilities 2. Billing and Claims Processing: Review the claims billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Oversee the claim process and manage routine billing tasks Resolve complex billing issues and denials Identify and report common billing issues to senior team members 3. Analysis and Reporting: Evaluate account performance and provide monthly reports senior team members. Review policies and best practices to optimize billing strategies Maintain accurate records in company systems 4. Collaboration and Improvement: Participate in team meetings and training sessions Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality service delivery Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Train and mentor junior team members Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field preferred 4-6 years of experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management required or 1-3 years of experience in ambulance or emergency services management required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
