We are actively seeking a Purchasing Assistant I to join Seattle Children's Research Institute!
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Facilitate the acquisition process; run reports; expedite past due orders; support vendor add process; monitor and process product returns; research and purchase equipment, goods, and services requisitioned by Research Institute staff; input/verify information from requisitions and purchase orders; assist with the department internal website.

High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum three (3) years of related experience in the areas of customer service and/or office management including administrative work supporting senior level staff or management.
At least one (1) year of purchasing or related work experience with emphasis on research lab supplies and equipment.
Healthcare/medical office and project management assistance experience.
Familiarity with clinical and research laboratory equipment and materials.
