Seattle Children’s Hospital Proposal Manager, Development in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities Under the direction of the Senior Director of Development, support fundraising strategies and goals by writing content for principal and transformational gift proposals, developing and curating language for strategic fundraising priorities across the enterprise including hospital/clinical divisions and research centers and programs, and cultivating strong relationships with a diverse set of FGA and other partners. Responsible for writing compelling language for a range of fundraising materials - including proposals, funding menus, descriptions of strategic fundraising priorities and other tools - that support solicitations by portfolio holders and fundraising programs. Collaborate with relevant teams and partners including Donor Relations and gift officers to produce high-quality proposals in a timely manner. Partner with senior leaders and other colleagues to develop a clear proposal process and provide input into creation of templates and other tools. In partnership with the program manager for major giving, develop and maintain a content library. As a key individual contributor to Seattle Children's Development Team, help to optimize a shared purpose and outcomes. #LI-JC1 Requirements Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Journalism, English, Communications, or comparable field or equivalent experience. Minimum five (5) years formal writing experience in fundraising, marketing, communications or public relations. Minimum three (3) year's experience working with fundraising/development/advancement teams and developing major gift and/or grant proposals. Experience in technical or scientific writing. Preferred: Experience in healthcare or research focused organization. Experience managing multi-faceted projects with complex timelines. Prior experience with Raisers Edge donor data base systems. Min to Max Hourly Salary$40.42 - $60.63 /hrMin to Max Annual Salary$84,075.00 - $126,112.00 /yrSalary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
