The Role:

Join our team as a product manager to create exciting learning products and services for Amazon itself. At Amazon we believe in our own services and use AWS extensively in every part of the consumer, digital, and other Amazon entities across the globe. You will be responsible for helping Amazon employees and our customers stay at the forefront of AWS Cloud innovation by acquiring, validating, and deploying skills so that they can successfully deliver on their business objectives.

You will understand our Amazon businesses, their teams, and their learning needs. You will define the end to end customer experience (content, technology, delivery). You will determine how to measure the customer experience and relentlessly drive improvements based on data. You will prioritize initiatives and create a roadmap to meet customer needs and partner cross-functionally to ensure the right customer experience is delivered.

Obsess over customer needs by meeting with Amazon internal businesses and teams to understand their needs, use cases, and priorities

Innovate on behalf of Amazon businesses and teams to identify and deliver the learning offerings, experiences, and curriculum needed to exceed their needs

Lead the creation of a product strategy and vision and seek alignment for that strategy

Prioritize initiatives and create product roadmaps for learning offerings, experiences, and curriculum

Develop business requirements and user stories

Work closely with curriculum development, technology, product management, marketing, and go to market teams to deliver results

Establish metrics and key performance indicators to manage the business

Use metrics to drive improvement and innovation

Work with marketing and business development teams on the best way to share and position learning offerings with customers

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process

  • Experience working on Product Modernization and/or Digital Transformation initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
