Amazon Product Manager - Tech, Amazon Music, Acquisition in Seattle, Washington

As Product Manager, Technical, you will be responsible for building/developing new acquisition levers such as new promotions, acquisition channels, partnerships including digital and physical subscription bundles (Amazon Music Unlimited + Fire TV, Amazon Music Unlimited + Prime Video Channel) that delight our customers. You will work with stakeholders across Amazon to curate world-class subscription experiences for millions of customers worldwide. To do this, you will start by developing a comprehensive understanding of customer expectations and aspirations around bundles. You will draft documents to describe plans, goals, and solutions including PR FAQs, Go To Market strategies (GTM), annual and quarterly plans, feature requirements, resourcing asks, and more. You will analyze data, develop insights, define the purchase experience, measure engagement, retention, and business impact. You will rally your partners including UX, Finance, BD and Marketing on your vision to deliver on a world class bundle experience for our customers. You will write feature requirements, review technical designs, and work across teams to craft disruptive solutions for complex problems. You will conduct experiments and analyze and report results, strategically developing proof of insights that change and steer downstream investments and strategies/deliverables. You will evangelize and report on the performance in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews.

Key job responsibilities

  • Write and deliver business requirement documents and artifacts required to enable the team's development of products, features and infrastructure

  • Maintain and continuously prioritize backlog and roadmap based on data and customers' needs

  • Write narratives to advocate for and justify product launches / changes

  • Plan and define the long term vision of your product areas of ownership

  • Build and improve a working relationship with your partners and stakeholders

  • Contribute to and develop the team's processes/mechanisms

  • Regularly participate in stand-ups, design reviews and other meetings with engineers, and contribute to the discussion to ensure a high quality bar

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services

  • Experience coordinating complex products with stringent technical requirements, development cycles and schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
