We have a commitment to our personnel and, in turn, expect our personnel to contribute to the success of Global.Responders shall be highly motivated, reliable, and flexible personnel to participate in our oil spill response labor pool and be part of the Global team. This is a great opportunity for people working part of the year that are interested in filling their time off with anoccasionalcall out to a spill response or other marine response projects. In addition, we offer opportunities to receive paid training onboard spill response vessels. Oil Spill Responders will report to the company’s Spill Response Program Coordinator.We will not ask you to miss work at your regular employer. This is not a full–time, part-time, or guaranteed position; it is on an as needed basis. Global will maintain a list of eligible responders who will be called in the event of an emergency. All responders are required to live within five hours of their home base.Duties and Responsibilities may include based on assigned project:Oil Spill response;Small vessel operations;Skimmer operations;Boom and anchor deployment/retrieval;Skilled equipment operations including, but not limited to, pump operations and hand tools;
