Job Title: MP&P Technical Analyst 3 (Composite Technician) Duration: 6 Months, possible extension Location: Tukwila, Washington. Regular and predictable attendance is required CLIENT Research and Technology is seeking a Mid-Level Composite Technician (Level 3) to join our team in Tukwila, Washington. Position Responsibilities: Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience as a mechanic or technician Good work ethic, high mechanical aptitude and knowledge of composite materials Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience working in a laboratory environment Hand layup experience Composite and metal bonding experience AFP equipment operation experience NC programming experience VCP programming experience Robot, gantry, lathe and mill operation experience CAMS experience Assembly experience Structural test experience Auto mechanic/body, construction, maintenance - Interest in learning SPECTRAFORCE is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, disability or veteran status, or any other category protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
