Job Summary This position will bring valuable skills and knowledge to an IT Engineering group which is primarily responsible for technical project work as well as overseeing day-to-day operations. We are looking for a talented Microsoft Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with a range of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Purview, Azure, and other related services, to enhance our business operations and drive digital transformation. Along with the key functions listed below, this position will be expected to uphold the value that Washington Federal places on simply being kind when working alongside colleagues and servicing our clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (Other duties may be assigned): Develop innovative solutions to problems through evaluation and proof of concepts with new and existing technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate M365 / Microsoft solutions with other business applications. Provide prompt and accurate information for audit items (Internal, SOX, FDIC, etc.). Participate in the delegation and assignment of projects and ticket work amongst the IT Engineering team. Implement, provide training for, and help maintain systems such as; Microsoft 365 (SharePoint / OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, etc.), Entra, Power Platform, Azure, Purview, Copilot, Intune, etc. Help create and maintain governance standards, automate processes, and manage escalations as necessary. Knowledge of InTune, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / Azure), MS Graph API, Copilot, is a plus. Help develop strategies for platform efficiency, growth and adoption, reporting, and application tuning. Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations. To that end, ensure timely and accurate preparation of Currency Transaction Reports, Suspicious Activity Reports and other recordkeeping requirements. Complete and pass all assigned eLearning courses and assigned certifications as required. Avoid all real or perceived conflicts of interest and always maintain client privacy and confidentiality. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education/Skills/Training: Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment and decision making. Strong documentation skills and ability to work in fast paced environments. Ability to assist internal and external customers in a personable and professional manner. AWS Cloud Practitioner Certified (or higher) a bonus. Must have a valid Washington state driver's license and be insurable under the Bank policy. Experience: Experience in implementing, managing, and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and other M365 services. Familiarity with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot / Virtual Bots) for creating solutions and managing the environment Understanding of Azure Active Directory / Entra and identity management Knowledge of security and compliance f
