The Demand planner acts as a liaison with various cross functional teams (i.e., process development, project leadership, clinical development, and commercial) to create and maintain demand plans within the cellular therapy franchise. The Demand Planner is responsible to create and maintain program level portfolio forecasts and provide demand scenarios that translates into slot allocation. This position also partners with the global supply chain internal/external teams to review the demand plans as part of the SD&OP (Sales, Development, and Operations Planning) process.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work closely & collaboratively with Cell Therapy teams such as: project leadership, clinical operations, cell therapy supply, patient scheduling and logistics, and finance to achieve business goals.

  • Create and maintain program level portfolio forecasts and reporting for early or late-stage clinical development programs.

  • Lead monthly cross functional demand reviews and update program portfolio demand plans to build an accurate forecast for near- and long-term planning.

  • Update demand forecasts to accurately represent the forecasting system is in alignment with plans and plant manufacturing capacity.

  • Create demand planning scenarios to support strategic development discussions.

  • Partner with clinical study teams to align trial assumptions to translate protocol design(s) into program level forecast. Provide input into trials to ensure manufacturing is best utilized. Identify potential bias in plans to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Assist with the maintenance and process improvement of tools used to maintain the forecast.

  • Generation and communication of long-term unconstrained demand to inform CTDO supply strategy.

Skills/Knowledge Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

  • 6+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, clinical planning, and/or forecasting,

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative in a team-oriented environment, and the ability to communicate well orally and in writing.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data sourcing)

  • Excellent analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility in responding to change or business needs.
