Blue Origin LLC Inventory Associate III - Test Operations in Seattle, Washington

This role is a part of the Test Operations team, providing centralized support to business units with a focus on the design, build, and maintenance of the ground systems, test, and launch facilities across multiple locations. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will directly manage ground system inventory for various test stands. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of Kent Test Operations facility readiness. You will directly enable the successful day to day operations of the Kent Test Operations facility and Ground Support Equipment (GSE). The incumbent will maintain and manage the Test Stand spares inventory, working closing with integrated supply chain and quality teammates. They will coordinate closely with the cleaning, passivation, and verification (CPV) lab and closely track the refurbishment and repair of hardware to maintain high inventory readiness posture. You will ensure parts are on hand and kitted to work orders. Collateral assignments may include management of calibrated tools, equipment, and instrumentation. We expect the specialist to be mission focused, never saying "that's not my job," and excited to safely deliver results. Minimum Qualifications: Seven or more years of experience with inventory or warehouse operations within the aerospace industry Experience writing, adapting, and maintaining standard operating procedures for inventory management to include parts kitting, cycle counting, maintaining critical stock levels, etc. Experience maintaining minimum spare quantities by creating purchase requests, working with procurement team, and tracking delivery. Proven experience meeting key performance metrics Demonstrated ability to perform receipt inspections and maintain transaction logs Proficient in Microsoft Office suite High school diploma or GED Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with cleanliness control methods Experience operating forklifts Experience rebuilding or cleaning fluid components Demonstrated ownership of calibration tracking program Prior exposure to industrial and/or outdoor environment Experience working within a fast paced, operations focused environment Familiarity with Coupa, Costpoint, and/or other inventory management software suites Confluence and Jira experience a plus Compensation Range for: WA applicants is $28.09-$39.32 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
