Weyerhaeuser HR Business Partner - Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain in Seattle, Washington

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for managing a blend of complex HR tasks and HR strategy, enjoys building collaborative business relationships with all levels of the organization, and is energized by leveraging HR expertise to drive change. This is a full-time position, and can be based in Seattle, WA, Hot Springs, AR or consideration will be given to alternate locations with close proximity to a major airport. This role will report to the Director of HR for Sales and Marketing.

In this role the HR Business Partner is tasked with providing HR support to the Wood Products Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain organization which includes employees across the US and Canada.

Among other things, this role advises on business and personnel issues to help mitigate risk (legal and otherwise) and ensure business actions align with company values, goals, and policies/procedures. Consistently demonstrating sound judgment is an essential function of the role. This role is expected to travel up to 20% to meet face to face with their customer base.

  • Leveraging HR expertise to become a collaborative business partner to achieve elevated business results.

  • At least 5 years of HR generalist experience, with an expertise in supporting exempt and non-exempt personnel across multiple states, preferred

  • Bachelor’s and/or master's degree preferred
  • SPHR, PHR, etc. certification preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships.
  • Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to influence people at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in issue resolution and employee relations.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, understand strategy and manage details.
  • Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills; experience in Peoplesoft, preferred.

Compensation:This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $79,300 to $119,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement:Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
