We are looking for a Global Head of Communications for Device, Digital and Alexa Support (D2AS) Leader that will be is responsible for the internal and external D2AS executive communications strategy. This leader owns the executive communications for the D2AS Vice President; he or she creates content for a variety of communications needs that align with business goals. The role will distill complex information into engaging content (e.g., keynotes, internal presentations, videos, news, org announcements) for global audiences. The role will also lead a team to build and execute communications mechanisms that keep our employees informed, develop style guidelines and communications governance standards across all internal channels, monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications through digital analytics, surveys, and other key performance indicators. Key job responsibilities * Own the creation and delivery of compelling, executive-level presentation materials (slides, scripts, messaging documents, and customer stories) for D2AS senior leadership. * Develop and deliver innovative multi-channel communications initiatives to engage and inform global D2AS employees. * Provide issues management and crisis communications support, when required. * Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses and geographies. * Partners with Amazon corporate communication and public relations teams * Track and report content effectiveness metrics to internal stakeholders, as well as continually monitor, analyze and tune messaging to maximize impact. * Develop and manage internal communications (for example, intra- or cross-divisional messages, talking points, frequently asked questions (FAQs), associate-facing promotional materials, presentations, articles). * Support and educate teams in their communications delivery * Drive adoption for D2AS communications channels.
