Blue Origin LLC Fluids Test Engineer I - Lunar Transportation in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. As the Fluids Test Engineer, you will support test design and test execution for fluids components across our Lunar Lander product lines. Responsibilities: Write test plans and test procedures for fluid components, including development, and environmental qualification and acceptance campaigns Assist in support equipment design, budgeting, procurement, verification, and integration Maintain fluids test equipment configuration control, calibration, and traceability Participate in gated design and test readiness reviews Maintain and operate pneumatic and cryogenic hardware and/or control software Follow safety policies during test planning and operations Troubleshoot anomalies real-time Reduce, analyze, and archive test data to support verification tasks Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, civil engineering or related field Experience with pressurized equipment; developing, writing, and executing test procedures for servicing or leak-checking GN2 systems Experience reading P&ID schematics/layout designs Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cryogenic and GHe test capabilities, including design, fabrication, installation, and operation. Experience with component testing of spaceflight hardware through the development, qualification, and acceptance of test campaigns Experience with test facility instrumentation and Data Acquisition and Control Systems Familiarity with cleanroom work and its associated best practices Proficiency in LabView, Python, MATLAB Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $81,090-$113,526 Other site ranges may differ Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
