Short Term Project - Fixed Asset Reconciliation Specialist

Our client has converted fixed asset and depreciation records from Excel spreadsheets into the MIP Fixed Asset Module. While the data entry is nearly complete, the next phase will be the reconciliation of the source data, the GL and the new software platform. This is a temporary role for someone who is accustomed to working contract gigs or in between assignments. 

What You'll be Doing...

• Review fixed asset and depreciation data within the MIP Fixed Asset Module.
• Ensure reconciliation of all asset and depreciation data to the General Ledger (GL).
• Conduct research on discrepancies, particularly involving asset disposals and incorrect depreciation entries over the last two years.
• Make recommendations and adjustments to correct depreciation and asset records.
• Assist in preparing for the 2024 depreciation entry.

• Experience with MIP Fixed Asset Module, or other fixed asset management programs.
• Fixed asset reconciliation, depreciation, and asset disposal research.
• Your ability to identify and correct discrepancies in previous jobs has made you a key team member -- they couldn't do without your analytical skills and attention to small details!

• Location: South Seattle, WA (Hybrid - exact in-office schedule TBD)
• Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check and 9-panel drug screen.
• Job Type: Temporary (3-5 weeks)
• Hourly pay rate: $40-$50 per hour
• Start Date: Mid-October
