TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country's most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence. TRC is seeking a Financial Analyst II. In this role, the candidate will develop, maintain, and establish financial workbooks and reports in Deltek and Power BI for the purpose of tracking and monitoring program financial performance. This person is expected to perform financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and prepare reports of findings and recommendations to program management. In addition, candidate may also provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by region or group. Candidate is expected to apply financial concepts such as rates of return, budgeting, and income statement analysis to complete tasks. They will work closely with program management to provide financial outlooks, monitor risks and opportunities and enable program management to make informed decisions. Responsibilities Monitoring/reporting program finance performance Sales/NSR/EBITDA Budgeting/Cost Controls Variance Analysis Submission of accruals/journal entries Estimate At Completion (EAC) updates Create and brief annual Fiscal Year Plan for selected projects Generating labor/cost reports Tracking Accounts Receivable Evaluating Risks/Opportunities to outlooks Provide Financial Analyses and scenarios for ad-hoc budgeting and pricing exercises Invoicing and other client facing deliverables Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7 years of professional experience; or 3 year of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
