This position will drive critical initiatives to improve the quality and timeliness of insights provided to business leadership. The individual should possess excellent financial acumen and strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Responsibilities: Facilitate change by seeking opportunities to transform or improve systems, processes, and model adaptability. Analyze data and methods to predict and improve the company's delivery of products and services to its customers. Creation of content and ability to present data to support program, financial, and operations reviews. Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans. Eliminate bottlenecks across the organization to improve cycle time. Perform financial analyses to support investments, pricing, and new business decisions. Oversee financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances. Recommend and implement process improvement measures and identify key financial as well as non-financial risks and advise mitigants for those risks. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or other highly analytical or technical field. 2+ years of financial and business analytics experience with specific experience helping business managers meet financial targets and deliver results. Highly skilled collaborator and influencer capable of interacting with multiple business partners and stakeholders. Solid understanding of underlying business processes and the impact of financial decisions. Deep knowledge of FP&A processes, generally accepted accounting principles, financial metrics, and experience in a matrix organization. Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. Strong communication, writing and presentation skills. Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Python (non-negotiable). Experience with data mining across diverse data sets. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Experience in estimate at completion (EACs) at the WBS element and program level Experience leading special projects that support management decision-making, such as capital expenditure, inventory, and what-if analyses. Experience in government contracting/government cost accounting and solid understanding of FAR and DFAR MBA or advanced degree in finance or other highly analytical or technical field.
