---Job Description---- Compensation Data Pay Grade: 22-26 $90,000-$108,000/yr. Not Including Annual Bonus: ROA Basic Job Functions: The environmental engineer will be responsible for leading safety and compliance obligations for both the department and division. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintain compliance with all environmental reporting requirements;implement and manage environmental programs, including ISO 14001 and mill-wide environmental training;actively engage with the production team to assist understanding and continuous improvement of environmental compliance;coordinate air, water, waste and radiation permits, licenses, rules, regulations and programs;and participate in community outreach efforts. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
