Providence St. Joseph Health Endoscopic Technician - PacMed First - Outpatient Surgery in Seattle, Washington

Description Administers direct hands-on patient care under the supervision of RN and Provider. Assists the Gastroenterology physician and RN during diagnostic procedures. Responds to emergency situations as directed and per the needs of the patient. Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with regulatory agency requirements and standards for the ASC. Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers. Initiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers. Takes responsibility for quality assurance, infection control, staff and self-development. Supports a learning environment. Displays commitment to the mission of PacMed and its values. Required Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Successful completion of PMC MA Module Training, verified by Trainer, Supervisor, Provider and Clinic Supervisor, resulting in PMC MA Certification. Coursework/Training: Successful completion of the SGNA (Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates) Associates program. 2 years Medical setting. Why Join Providence?
