As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will participate in the development of space launch vehicles. We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a fast paced environment. You will be primarily responsible for program planning and scheduling within a fast-paced group developing human space flight hardware. In this hands-on position, you'll work to increase the speed and efficiency of our programs by supporting the timely delivery, quality and transparency of schedule and financial data to support the company's business decisions. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and requires your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities: Provide support to program management in scheduling, resource planning, cost analysis and reporting for various Rocket Engine Programs Collect status, develop and maintain detailed planning level schedules Perform schedule baseline change control, critical path analysis, and variance analysis Communicate issues to stakeholders and provide mitigation recommendations Resource load, analyze, and optimize program schedule to meet required dates Collaborate with Responsible Engineers, Buyers, Integrated Product Team Leads, and other Functional Support groups to status design efforts, critical procurements, and operations activities Perform "what if" scenarios and help develop recovery plans Integrate cost and schedule to support budgeting and cost analysis efforts Develop specialized reporting as requested by upper management Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Project Management, or Engineering 1-3 years' experience in a Program Management environment with tracking schedules, actions, or other relative tasks Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Project, MS Powerpoint) 1-3 years' experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace Strong communication and organization skills Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Self-starter, strong bias for action Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Experience with MS Project or other CPM scheduling software Project Management certification (PMP/Certified Project Manager) Earned Value Management (EVM) experience Compensation Range for: WA applicants is $85,770.00-$120,078.00 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
