Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an End-to-End Compliance Process Lead to oversee the interconnection and alignment of processes, mechanisms, and tools across AWS’s product compliance function to enable operational delivery at scale in alignment with established policies to manage risk. The AWS Product Compliance (PC) team covering thousands of internal use data center and customer-focused hardware products with global distribution. This role will play a strategic role in aligning execution across multiple functions within the team to support the development and distribution of high volumes of equipment on a global scale. The role will interface with staff across PC, as well as Trade Compliance teams, and internal customers.
You will report to the Senior Manager for Global Product Compliance within AWS’s Global Trade and Product Compliance team (GTPC) that ensures that all equipment procured for use in AWS data centers, as well as equipment sold or provided to customers, satisfies global regulatory requirements.

GTPC is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure equipment necessary to support the AWS services are imported/exported in a compliant manner across the multiple countries where AWS operates and will expand, including all product certification/safety regulations.
Key job responsibilities
• Monitor and evaluate the alignment of processes across PC to the team’s risk management policies, as well as the alignment and efficacy of interconnection between processes across workflows to identify and drive improvements.
• Assess the impact of new business initiatives, organizational changes, and regulatory changes on PC operations in relation to PC’s risk framework to evaluate how to account for these changes within PC’s end-to-end processes.
• Assist PC functions with the development of new processes and mechanisms and coordination on implementation and adoption across PC and GTPC.
• Understand how GTPC tools and services align with PC processes and policies to enable automation and scaling, coordinate between PC and GTPC Tech to assist with the identification and prioritization of improvements in the tools and services.
• Serve as the quality lead for PC, developing and tracking metrics to measure the quality of PC’s output and driving continuous improvement.
• Interact with customers to improve the alignment of PC’s delivery to their needs, processes, and tools.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Experience with Product or Trade Compliance (or similar areas of compliance)
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Preferred Qualifications
Degree/certification in six sigma, product management, or related disciplines
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
Experience owning technology products
Proven track record of delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while balancing multiple competing priorities
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
