Job Description

We are looking for a junior to mid-level DevOps Engineer for a client in the Cruise Industry. The Cloud DevOps engineer will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and managing cloud operations to ensure availability, reliability, performance, and security. The candidate will design and manage cloud applications and infrastructure, building and managing CI/CD pipelines and automations. Responsibilities include supporting hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, and OCI, devising secure and cost-effective cloud-native solutions, and being proficient with AWS services like IAM, EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch. A deep understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, TCP/IP, SSH, and firewalls), and Active Directory is essential. Familiarity with SSO, SSL, load balancing, and firewall exchange is beneficial. Experience with databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Snowflake, proficiency in programming languages such as PowerShell and Python, and hands-on experience with automation, configuration management, and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and Chef) are required. Knowledge of data security and compliance (SOX, GDPR, PCI), performing security functions, and documenting deployment and maintenance strategies is necessary. The candidate will also provide technical support to triage issues and monitor software platform health.

Skills and Requirements

5 + years of Experience working with Hybrid cloud environment: AWS, OCI

 Expert with basic AWS or other equivalent cloud computing service like IAM, EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.

 hands on with Windows as well as Linux operating systems and networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, TCP/IP, SSH and firewalls is essential.

 Understanding of Network, Domains and Active Directory.

 Experienced programming languages like PowerShell, Python, etc

 Hands on experience with automation, configuration management, CI/CD. Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, etc

 Understanding processes of sox, pci , gdpr compliance Familiar with SSO, SSL, Load balancing, Firewall, Exchange would be beneficial. null
