JPMorgan Chase Data Product Owner- Commercial Real Estate in Seattle, Washington
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work on the Commercial Real Estate team to partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view of data products.
As a Data Product Manager in the Commercial Real Estate team, you will have the unique opportunity to lead cross-functional projects to design, construct, and implement data assets with a customer focus. You will partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view of data products, leveraging your understanding of data structures, manipulation, metadata, security, and quality management. This role requires a solid understanding of Commercial Banking businesses, functions, systems, data environments, and processes essential for the production and use of modeling data.
Job Responsibilities
Drive Executive meetings with key stakeholders for each program to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues.
Provide visibility to program status (issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis through push status reporting (to all stakeholders, team members, and interested parties).
Manage \"program/feature\" dependencies across multiple teams, scrum teams, functions, divisions, and stakeholders.
Anticipate and remove obstacles that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering project goals, with a sense of urgency.
Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
Exhibits excellent organizational skills, time management skills, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Holds experience working both independently and in a virtual, collaborative environment is essential. Comfortable working in a matrix management model with stakeholders and virtual teams across global locations
Displays a strong knowledge of back-end and front-end application components
Demonstrates a balanced approach combining judgment, analytical rigor, curiosity, open-mindedness and creativity with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities/workflows.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Master's Degree in Finance / Computer Science / Information Systems / Engineering or related disciplines
Superior organizational management, talent management and relationship building skills, given extensive interfacing required with both senior members of the businesses, Products, and IT executive management.
Significant experience managing an end to end data environment, one with large data sets and low-latency requirements.
Proven experience delivering strategic programs, delivering data asset across back-end, and ML/AI platforms.
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Deep experience with Agile software development lifecycle. Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
10+ years of relevant experience in technical project & data solutions management
10+ hands-on practical experience delivering data design, development, testing, and operational stability
10+ managing large and complex technical projects and diverse teams
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and big data tools (Spark, Hive, HDFS, etc.)Experience in architecture, data management, application ownership, and other IT role experience
