General Description

This role will have a focus on Parametric’s contracts management process, including investment management agreements with clients and financial advisers. This role will be responsible for following contracting policies and procedures, maintenance of a contract repository and creation of contract templates program. This role will engage with variety of internal business partners across Parametric.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assume primary day to day responsibility for client contracts of the Separately Managed Account (SMA) business at Parametric, including drafting and review of standard and non-standard investment management agreements, amendments, negative consents and other documents for the SMA business.

  • Liaise with legal and obtain and track approval from internal stakeholders for non-standard terms.

  • Partner with legal, sales, and other business teams to manage contracts ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.

  • Serve as expert and key point of contact on standard clauses, policies, negotiating positions and contract workflow.

  • Track, manage and develop the end to end process from kickoff to full execution and digital storage of all client agreements.

  • Ensure all contract data and information is appropriately entered into CLM tool, and partner with client relations, compliance, and audit departments to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Other projects as requested.

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of experience in contracts management (financial services industry experience a plus)

  • Proficient with MS Office and the ability to learn additional software programs

  • Strong experience in drafting contract language.

  • Excellent contractual analytical skills, as well as the ability to aptly summarize key contractual concerns to and on behalf of operating business units

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, which may involve handling many tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to solve problems and achieve results using sound judgment in a timely manner

  • Strong communicator with interpersonal, management, writing, and editing skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Collaborative in their interaction with colleagues across the firm regardless of function or level; a team player

  • Highly motivated and hardworking, with a passion for excellence
