Seattle Children’s Hospital Clinical Research Coordinator I in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: Assist the Hematology/Vascular Anomalies (VAN) team in the organization, implementation, and completion of clinical research trials (both therapeutic and non-therapeutic). Maintain regulatory documents; assist the Principal Investigator in the planning of protocol implementation and site initiation visits and routine monitoring of clinical studies. Along with the PI, ensure that research projects are conducted in compliance with federal regulations, institutional policies/departmental guidelines, and standards of Good Clinical Practice. Additional tasks and responsibilities specific to VAN CRC role include the following: - Interdepartmental collaboration for Hematology/VAN and Otolaryngology/Surgical Services research studies. - Travel between multiple campuses for patient screening and consent conference visits (Seattle campuses and Bellevue campus). - Attend and participate in regular team meetings, huddles and patient care conferences. - Manage agendas and facilitate VAN specific research team meetings. - Pre-screen and track enrollment summary with weekly report out to research team. - Weekly collaboration with VAN clinic team (providers, RNs and genetic counselors) for patient study approaches and specimen collections. - Pend research lab collection orders and enter research notes for consent conferences and study visits in electronic medical record. This position will work mainly on weekdays, occasional weekend work may be required to cover patient coordination needs. The primary work location will be downtown Seattle campus. Secondary locations requiring travel will be Hospital Main campus and Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center (BCSC). Requirements: Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in research or a related field/setting. Confirmed proficiency in a second language via successful completion of a language assessment may be required for certain departments. Required Credentials: N/A. Preferred: Pediatric research experience. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $27.61 - $41.42 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $57,428.80 - $86,153.60 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
