Requirements
Buyer: This is where you come in.
We’re looking for a Buyer to procure commodities, materials, equipment and services to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, in addition to price, quality and delivery requirements. This requires strong communication skills to understand the needs of the business, clarify expectations with internal business partners and suppliers to sustain continuity of the supply chain. Collaboration – working with internal partners to ensure business needs are achieved in partnership with our suppliers.
Buying approach / product knowledge – Pursue the best value procurement solutions for MMFS, and continuously expand your professional knowledge of the industry.
Execute with distinction – invest in the teams’ best practices and pursue targeted goals.
Support the mentorship and training of Associate Buyer and Coordinators
The Buyer role reports to Scott McGraw (https://www.linkedin.com/in/scott-mcgraw-12b1872b/) - Director of Procurement on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.
Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?
You should have…
A track record of delivering best value procurement solutions through purchasing or supply chain management, minimum 5 years' experience required.
Expertise leveraging in depth knowledge of MEP industry, specifically equipment, parts, materials, and specialties.
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, or direct construction industry experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains and/or PowerBI is a huge plus!

Benefits
Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 annually
