You will work closely with guests, travel agents and wholesale partners over the phone and through email to share the UnCruise Adventures small ship soft adventure experience. You will provide exceptional customer service while responding to inquiries, answering questions, making bookings, taking payments, etc. with the goal of bringing each conversation to a booking. Quickly developing a rapport with the caller, sharing your passion for the company and product and utilizing appropriate information-building and closing techniques will help you to be successful. You will be working in a team environment.
This is a full time non-exempt position located in-person at the company’s headquarters in Seattle. This position reports to the Reservations Manager.
Answer incoming phone calls. Develop a rapport with the caller while answering questions, making recommendations and leading dialogue to a quote/booking
Handle online booking inquiries; answer questions and fulfill booking requests
Assist guest and travel partners with questions throughout the entire booking cycle
Build an understanding of our Cruise Partner reservations system and Salesforce CRM system and create and update recordings accurately and timely
Maintain current knowledge of all destinations, vessels, onboard services, land programs and marketing initiatives
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Work experience in the travel sales industry and customer service arena
BA or BS degree
Advanced, proven sales skills. Strong understanding of developing a rapport with the caller, directing the call and closing the sale
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, are essential
Strong aptitude for technology and learning new systems. Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce and reservation/booking systems (Cruise Partner IBS, etc.) extremely helpful
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your work load while managing multiple tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced environment
Excellent follow through and attention to detail
