Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line.This positionAs a Financial Services Account Executive (AE), you are a highly motivated self-starter who is responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business in an assigned greenfield territory made up of financial services accounts with over 500 employees that do not currently use any DocuSign products. You are relentless in your pursuit of conversations with new contacts within large accounts that can open doors. You are accountable for creating and executing a detailed prospecting plan in order to generate enough sales qualified opportunities to ultimately exceed monthly and quarterly quotas. Other key responsibilities are pipeline management, deal execution, forecast accuracy, and post-sale support of your customers in collaboration with internal teams and the broader DocuSign partner ecosystem.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Vice President, Commercial Sales and is designated Flex.ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting efforts into a defined territoryDrive success of the company's goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotasDevelop and deliver customized sales presentations and products demonstrations, by phone and via online demoDevelop and negotiate enterprise level proposals and contractsForecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales toolsCollaborate effectively and engage various pre/post sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, as well as Legal, Security, Professional Services and Customer SupportBasic qualificationsBS/BA degree or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in an AE role or equivalent quota-carrying rolePreferred qualifications4+ years SaaS sales experienceExperience selling web-based products/servicesExperience managing and closing complex sales cyclesDemonstrated ability to over-achieve quotas (top 10-20% of company) in past positionsProficient computer application skills, including Salesfo
