Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Training Specialist to join us at our Searcy, AR location. The Training Specialist will assist in the coordination, implementation and administration of training programs and requirements to support business objectives.
This is a 1st Shift position.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develops and tracks all training processes for the facility
Develop competency assessment processes for production intent training (IE Machining/assembly)
Organize and lead rapid improvement events targeting training improvement
Coordinates New Employee Orientation and facilitates hourly onboarding program through on-the-job training (OJT)
Coordinate with internal and external partners to identify the training needs of the workforce to develop content and facilitate events
Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and benchmark with industry best-practices to make recommendations for improvement and then execute those improvements
Collaborate with management to proactively identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, gaps in training, and other processes
Conduct internal ISO 9001/IATF 16949 audits
Regularly conduct process checks related to training and development
Participate and lead IATF 16949 compliance related to training and competence
Background & Skills
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
Job Criteria
Strong ability to organize, prioritize projects, and work independently
Ability to collaborate with others achieve results
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Able to conduct effective training sessions objectively and confidently to key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to research and analyze various types of feedback to make recommendations for improvements to current business practices
