Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Customer Support is seeking an Experienced Propulsion Ground Support Equipment Engineer with experience in propulsion and engine support equipment to join a team in Seal Beach, CA where you will support all Boeing airplane models with Boeing-designed ground support equipment and tooling used to maintain, service and overhaul all commercial airplanes.
The Ground Support Equipment Engineer researches information and engineering data used to ensure supportability and maintainability of support products and services
Contributes to directing product definition and design to enhance supportability and contributes to the development of system and program requirements for support of products.
Provides technical solutions and support to airline customers on ground support equipment and ground operations for airplane servicing and maintenance.
Provides sales support and introductory support by analyzing an airlines’ capabilities and equipment requirements to service and maintain airplanes new to their fleet.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
3+ years of experience with technical experience in an aerospace environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Ground Support Equipment or Maintenance Tooling experience.
Mechanical Systems / Tooling Design experience.
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
