Patient Service Representative Position Summary
The primary function of a Patient Service Representative is to provide administrativesupport for thePrimaryand Specialty Care practices. The PSR is responsible for greeting patients and patient checkin and check out; verification and maintenance of patient insurance/financial information;patient communication with required staff; patient scheduling and medical history in the EHR system, and additional office-specific tasks as instructed.
Patient Service Representative Position Requirements
- Previous physician office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Experience with electronic health record preferred.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
