About you and this role –

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Activity Coordinator Lead, located inSeadrift, TX.The Maintenance Activity Coordinator Lead uses their influential leadership to ensure the Global Maintenance Work Process has been implemented and is aligned with EHS, Maintenance Productivity, and Improve Plant objectives and goals.

Responsibilities –

  • Accountable for compliance and implementation of the Global Maintenance Work Process (GMWP)

  • Ensures that all work process Roles (Operations and Maintenance) understand the Global Maintenance Work Process including Maintenance Procedure Use Policy, Life Critical Standards and Most Effective Technology (MET).

  • Actively participates in or leads Site Control Tower and DAS Team meetings.

  • Understands the Global Maintenance Business Rules and ensures they are followed.

  • Facilitates implementation of “best practices,” playbooks, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); new and/or revised technology initiatives, etc.

  • Measures the efficiency of the Global Maintenance Work Process and implements action plans for improvement and monitors the results of the assigned zone(s) vs. targeted outcomes.

  • Initiates Management of Change for improvements and knowledge transfer

  • Support site resource strategies by collaborating with Scheduler & Contract Administrators to secure necessary resources to perform work.

  • Understands and supports the Global/Site Accrual Process

  • Performs frequent (at least weekly) field visits in order to assess safety and quality maintenance productivity.

Qualifications –

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of maintenance, manufacturing, or other related experience is required.

  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System, e.g., SAP is preferred.

  • Proficiency in the Global Maintenance Work Process, including touch points with GPM, Turnaround, MRO, and Make Product (Improve Plant and Anticipate & Resolve) is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Life Critical Standards; high knowledge of safe work permit and exemption lists is preferred.

  • Proficiency in analyzing Maintenance Excellence measurements; ability to determine actions or next steps (SIC’s) is preferred.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

  • Leadership: Influential leadership to ensure the implementation and alignment of the Global Maintenance Work Process (GMWP) with EHS, Maintenance Productivity, and Improve Plant objectives.

  • Maintenance Processes and Systems: Proficiency in the Global Maintenance Work Process and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like SAP.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze Maintenance Excellence measurements and determine actions or next steps. Proactive problem-solving skills for initiating improvements.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication to ensure understanding of the GMWP and collaboration with Scheduler & Contract Administrators to secure necessary resources.

  • Safety and Compliance: Proficiency in Life Critical Standards and knowledge of safe work permits and exemption lists to ensure compliance and safety.
