Description

Robert Half has partnered with a client in the education field to find a highly organized and proactive Senior Administrative Assistant. This pivotal role will support key personnel within the organization and ensure the seamless execution of administrative and operational functions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive-level support to leadership, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

  • Assist with preparing documents, reports, and presentations; proofread materials for accuracy and professionalism.

  • Coordinate and organize events, including staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs.

  • Manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality of student, staff, and organizational records.

  • Serve as a liaison between departments, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.

  • Oversee office operations, including supply inventory, vendor management, and equipment maintenance.

  • Support hiring processes by coordinating interviews and onboarding for new team members, as needed.

  • Provide guidance to junior administrative staff, monitoring workload and mentoring as appropriate.

    Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of administrative experience; prior experience at a senior assistant level and/or in the education sector is highly preferred.

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams). Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a bonus.

  • Organization: Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a professional demeanor.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with a resourceful and proactive approach to challenges.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a part of a dynamic team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting executives or senior-level team members.

  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in the education industry.

  • Background in coordinating educational events or programs.
