Your Responsibilities
Manage the incident and request queues for the team.
Perform initial analysis of production issues to determine root cause.
Field requests from business and other teams that come through multiple channels.
Ensure the technical documentation are kept current and available in the wiki site.
Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data.
Debug distributed systems with high data loads.
Resolve , test and implement via change management small to medium production incidents and enhancements.
Assist development staff in coding to resolve small incidents and enhancements and Architects by answering functional questions through research, design, and build processes.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
At least 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst or Systems Analyst
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Demonstrated knowledge in AWS technologies including S3, Redshift, Athena etc.
Knowledge in Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, and AWS EMR preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of database management system technologies and tools
Demonstrated experience in writing SQL queries.
Excellent analytical skills with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
Understanding of messaging data exchange and JSON
Demonstrated understanding of API design, documentation, and data mapping
Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or other ticket management systems preferred.

Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Sr. Manager, IT Product Management . You will have 6 per teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Systems Analyst 3 , you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ or Minneapolis , MN . In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center in Scottsdale, AZ .
Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ and Minneapolis, MN are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtual from your home office the remaining days.
