Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Program Manager, Loyalty Operations in the Choice Privileges Department’s Loyalty Operations Team . The Loyalty Operations Team works closely with our tech organization to implement new projects and enhancements and ensures that our technology works effectively in production. As a key member of our Loyalty Operations Team, you will have the opportunity to work on major corporate initiatives like implementing new program benefits for the Choice Privileges loyalty program.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work with Governance and IT teams to prioritize, plan, execute, and implement new CP initiatives, fixes, and enhancements requiring IT development resources.

  • Research and define business requirements, review, and assess technical documents and feasibility, monitor project implementations, assist with quality assurance/testing plans, and coordinate with related departments for internal projects.

  • Proactively research and work with appropriate IT or other personnel to correct problems with the software affecting operations for reward programs, in the Customer Service Center, or at the hotels.

  • Prepare presentations and communications about the aspects of new or revised programs.

  • Serve as primary contact for operational issues/requests for Choice Privileges new enhancements .

  • Assist in the development and testing of CP Marketing promotions.

    Your Experienc e, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent experience.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing department coordinating a program or product enhancements; project management experience required .

  • Excellent technical, analytical, and critical thinking/problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel.

  • Takes initiative to identify issues and resolve them to completion.

  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to coordinate multiple projects at once within tight timelines while keeping strong attention to detail .

  • Demonstrates key competencies to include planning and aligning, managing complexity, and action orientated.

  • Ability to create and maintain project plans and timelines.

    Your Team

    This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Loyalty Operations & Partner Integration . You will have 4 teammates and collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.

    Your Work Location

    As our Program Manager, Loyalty Operations , you will be based in our beautiful, s tate-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.

    Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtually from your home office the remaining days. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
