Description

onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated semiconductor professional to join the Medium voltage MOSFET product line of Power Solutions Group, located in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Product Line Manager you will have the opportunity to build up the strategy of the product line with much greater detailed action plans and ensure the long-term growth of the product line. The MHV MOSFET product line team is fast paced, innovative and quality driven environment where Team is first.

Performance Objectives

This opportunity will ask a candidate to have the following performance objectives:

• Develop and manage the business strategy for the power MOSFET product portfolio to ensure the best positioning in the industrial applications; renewable energy, factory automation, robotics, and motor equipment such as forklift.

• Work/Guide/Collaborate with the regional marketing and the field teams to study the market, to engage with customers worldwide, and to clearly define customers’ requirements and needs.

• Develop the technology and new product roadmap, including both silicon and package technologies.

• Act as a project owner for NPD and drive marketing activities and deliverables for the business case development with greater detailed information during the development milestone process.

• Develop product go-to market plans including pricing strategy, ensure marketing material ready for the field team.

• Work with customers on design in/win activities, ensure customer’s satisfaction on technical support.

• Intensively collaborate with internal operations team to ensure on-time execution of the production plan.

• Engage and build up the strategic relationship with key customers and distributor partners.

Qualifications

Requirements

The successful candidate will be best equipped for this job if you have.

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 5 years of semiconductor industry experience combining technical and marketing positions.

• Good knowledge in power electronics and industrial applications.

• Proven success in marketing, new product development, and product & technology management.

• Proven experience working with customers on design, business strategy, and product road-maps.

• Proven managerial and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with management.

• Ability to effectively communicate across multiple organizations, time zones, and cultures.

• Ability to effectively connect with customers.

• Strong desire to grow the business and achieve results.

• Willingness to travel regularly; up to about 20% of time.
