Learn more at HonorHealth.com. Responsibilities Job Summary The Academic Project Coordinator serves as the Academic Affairs institutional project coordinator and specialist for the organization. Provides institutional oversight, accreditation-related and program support and education/development to Academic Affairs teams and constituents. Supports Academic Affairs committees and its subcommittees. Follows trends in selected performance indicators and prepares reports for Academic Affairs Committees (Graduate Medical Education and Continuing Medical Education), Medical Executive Committee (MEC) and Board of Directors. Manage onboarding and orientation process for incoming faculty, residents, fellows and staff. Responsible for administration of learners including residents, fellows, medical students, physician assistant students, clinical observers, and healthcare interns. Coordinate orientation and onboarding; accurate recordkeeping and data management. Initiates, tracks, and executes all contract requests from internal and external programs through the contract system for Academic Affairs contracts. (i.e. Master Affiliation, Program Letters of Agreement, Resident and Fellow, Faculty Services, Mission Support, Commercial Support, Vendor, Speaker and Honoraria contracts) Administer databases for Graduate Medical Education, Continuing Medical Education, Library Services and Faculty Development (maintaining accurate and timely data integrity, compliance tracking, and pulling reports on a regular basis) Coordinate and prepares accurate financial reports (IRIS/Medicare cost reporting, AHCCCS GME funds, Grants and Foundation gifts) Support (re)accreditation efforts for existing and new programs. Provides back up support for program coordinators as needed. Reviews and maintains all Academic Affairs policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency. Leads and mentors projects and programs with Academic Affairs interns, volunteers and on call staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience in Business, Communications, Psychology or similar degree. Required Experience 3 years related professional experience in the field of education, communication, project coordination or management. Required
