Choice Hotels Enterprise Application Support Analyst 1 (Hybrid) in Scottsdale, Arizona
Who are we looking for?
Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Enterprise Application Support (EAS) Analyst I in the Data Center Operations department. The EAS team is the team that researches issues that are being experienced by our major enterprise applications. Everything from our website shows the incorrect rate, our partner vendors not showing correct information to reservations not booking correctly. As a key member of our EAS team, you will provide tier II support for all enterprise level applications used by Choice Hotels by researching the issue indicated and fixing it if possible.

Your Responsibilities
Work tickets to find and resolve issues by:
Following the flow of traffic from application to application.
Researching logs to find issues.
Writing SQL to produce data.
Find and implement ways to automate recurring tasks and functions.
Create and update documentation for the EAS team.
Collaborate with other teams to learn how applications work with each other.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
At least 1 years’ experience in hospitality and application support.
Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting applications.
Knowledge of how databases are designed (both transactional and data warehouse).
Ability to write SQL statements to pull data from databases.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Demonstrates key competencies to include effective communication, ensure accountability, and initiative.
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Manager, Data Center Operations. You will have 5 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Enterprise Application Support Analyst, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtual from your home office the remaining days. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
